Noticeboard

As restrictions ease in Scotland to level 3 we continue to remain open to patients.  If you have any COVID symptoms please contact 111 for initial assessment.  We are unfortunately not able to asses you until we receive this report from 111. Our appointments are via telephone triage initially, where a Clinician will arrange for you to come to the Practice if required at a time that is safe to do so.  This is for your protection and that of other patients, as well as to protect staff.  Our patient advisors will ask you for further details in order to direct you to the most appropriate Clinician.

Thank you for your patience and understanding at what is a challenging time.

Home Visits

Doctor's bagWhilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 10:00. We ask patients to remember that we can see four people in the surgery in the time that a home visit normally takes.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the doctor to schedule house calls

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
